THE DRUNK BUS

Rating: 3/5 (54 ratings)
Introduction
In terms of drinking its something that everyone does. It’s part of daily life for a lot of people. Especially in the Greek system. Our school has a lot of drugs and drinking.
After we got ranked number 1 party school, it went from 600 drinking tickets being given out every year to 2000 drinking tickets. A lot of kids are scared to walk home from bars and parties because walking home they will stop you and breathalyzer you. If you get pulled over in a car, they breathalyzer the whole car.

Campus Life and Social Life
The drunk bus. The highlight of a lot of people’s night actually. It’s basically like you’re in Cancun. Everyone’s drunk. Sometimes it can turn a big fight if there’s more than one fraternity on it. If the right people are on it, it can turn into an orgy. It really just depends on the group of people you get and how the ride goes. The drivers are all locals and they are humorous to say the least.

The drunk bus is exactly what it sounds like. If you want to go from one bar to the next or if you want to go home, it’s a free bus ride to wherever you pretty much want to go. It goes all over campus.

Academics
In terms of teachers. There’s a website you can go to find out grade distribution. Like how many A’s they give out, how many B’s, how many C’s. A lot of people if you’re like me, you look at that website and find out what teacher give out the most A’s, the most B’s and you sign up for that class. Usually that’s the easiest class.

Class, unless it’s a small discussion, you don’t have to go. We’re really known for our journalism school.

We have one of the top business schools in the country actually. If you’re not in the business school the only thing you get to see with it is the people that stress over it. They basically miss out on college because they spend the whole time trying to complete their business degree.

Here you don’t have to be in a fraternity or sorority to have a group of friends. Have things to do. Our school is 37,000 people we have a lot to offer.

In terms of social scenes and parties, I think if you don’t go the bars and you’re not trying to go to a random house party, fraternities and sororities definitely help the situation out a lot because every weekend, you can pretty much count on them for having a function.

Student Body
I took a class called IU’s culture and traditions, that talked about all the little traditions and things that go on at IU, that most students will have no idea ever went on unless they took this class.

In Closing...
The idea behind the tree of shoes is when a guy loses his virginity, he takes a pair of shoes and throws them over a tree.
