This is the Place to Be
IntroductionI chose it because of the Business school and because I knew it would be different in the Midwest than on the East Coast. And fun! The school exceeded expectations. Obviously this is a huge school so if you're not into that, then this isn't where you wanna be. Although it's big, it never seems crowded and everyone is friendly. If you come to this school with an open mind then you'll love it. You won't find many people transferring unless they have no social abilities or just hate big schools.
Campus Life and Social LifeThere is always a party going on, whether it's Sunday, midterms, or finals, someone is downing alcohol at either the frats, bars, or at house parties. Definitely a top party school, as well as a great sports school for both college athletes or students just looking to be active. Weekends are something you will always look forward to. At IU the weekend starts on Wednesday. Just don't let it catch up to you.

AcademicsKelly Business school is great. As well as many of the other programs.
Student BodyThere really is no "typical" student at IU, its very diverse and you'll find yourself making friends with people you never thought you would. Business majors are obviously very different than a music major, yet everyone is friendly to each other and there isn't any separation like there would be in high school. Students come from all over. Yet everyone has the same two goals. Do well in class and get hammered. End of story.
In Closing...You'll have a great time here.
