Time of your life!

Introduction
There is something different for everyone. When it comes to college make sure you pick the right school. The reason I chose IU is because of the academic reputation, atmosphere, and best of all the diversity on campus! Indiana may sound like another typical state, however, when you come to Bloomington (Home of IU) you won't realize that you are in Indiana because it is strictly a college town and a melting pot. When I fist visited the campus I fell in love with it because everyone was very friendly and helpful. The campus is beautiful!

Campus Life and Social Life
IU is the number one party school in the country. We have one of the largest greek systems in the country! Students here work hard and party hard. We are known for the Little 500 Bike Race in the spring time. We have everything you want here! No Joke! This is the most fun school you can ever ask for... unless you're anti-social. Academics
The workload here is laid back. Most intro classes are big. However, as you move into your major, your classes keep getting smaller and smaller. My smallest class has 10 people in it. The professors here are amazing. They are very well prepared for what they doing and they share it with the students in class. We have many outstanding programs such as the business school, which is the in the top ten in the country and it is very competitive to get into. Our music department of course it is very well know. SPEA is number one in the nation. If you can't find the major you can always create your own major! The math program here isn't that great because many of the TAs you will get are not too good at English! But that is the same complaint at other schools...

Student Body
We have over 3,000+ international students on campus. There is "no typical" student here. YOU can always find different kinds of people. We have a significant number of out of state students, despite it being a public school. IU is well known for its academic reputation which is why it attracts kids from all over the world. This is a melting pot! OH, WE HAVE THE BEST LOOKING GUYS AND GIRLS IN THE NATION!!! We also have many different ethnic restaurants, from Tibetan to Vietnamese.

In Closing...
The IU campus is amazing. We have a lot of trees on campus. Best of all, are the buildings on campus. We have the best facilities in the country. When you come to visit, you will not want to leave.
