A School for All, From Geek to Chic

Introduction
I really had no idea what I wanted to do in my life. I chose Iowa State because it was a good school and very accessible to me. So far everything has been great. I wasn't so sure how things would go, but I love it! A big range of people could make it here. From the moderately lazy, to the people that love to study!

Campus Life and Social Life
There are always things to do on the weekend! You could walk down a number of streets and find a party. The week nights stay pretty quiet, there is usually one or two parties. But it's nice to have a break from the party scene. There are fairs every semester for students to go to and check out school clubs, it's really convienient and you never know what you'll find there! Sports are always prevalent in a student's life here. I bought season tickets to all sports, and I'm so glad I did! Advertisement
Academics
Unless your majoring in it, DO NOT take Environmental studies. Wow! What a boring class. I dropped it in a week and a half. So far I have LOVED the psychology courses. I hear music classes are fun too. I haven't had much experience yet though!

Student Body
Most people here are what you would call "normal". Walking through campus most people keep to themselves or stop and talk to a friend. Every once in a while you get a surprise though, but that's part of the fun! I won't ever forget the day I walked out of the Library and "Jousting Club" was having a weekly meeting in the grass!

In Closing...
I'd recommend this school to anyone! Everyone here is generally friendly. Everywhere I go people are helping each other out. It's so great to see college students interacting like that!
