Choose JHop if you want to be challenged academically, go to school in one of the lesser-known but fantastic american cities. Stay away if you hate science.

Campus Life and Social Life
friendly but definitely not state-school social scene. It's about 60:40 people with personalities:people without any kind of personality Advertisement
Academics
most of the departments are great - esp the sciences (bio, chem, engineering), writing seminars and international relations. workload is notoriously large, but not at all unmanagable

Student Body
beware the hideous and pale nerds: many of the students are boring, study-only, genuinely ugly kids. sad but true. parties? know where to look, know what a city is like. sports - lacrosse is the main thing, but the other Div III arent bad to watch. clubs are really diverse and can be great fun. weekends involve homework and parties. state school with a brain.
