First for KSU
IntroductionKennesaw really is a great school. I'd recommend it to any one who is not afraid of a large student body, wants to get their start in college, and/ or wants a challenge once in the major courses. I would not recommend the type that think state schools are crap, who are put off by crappy parking, or who want an overly-active Greek life.
Campus Life and Social LifeKennesaw is still a baby in terms of being a university. The on-campus housing has only been around since 200 3 and is fairly expensive unless you're willing to take out a loan or have financial aid or have parents' money. I've been to a couple 'frat parties', and even though I don't like partying, these parties were a dud. Now, that is not to say that all parties are like that... just the two I went to.
We don't have a football team, but everything else we have is great! Hockey is our football!
Atlanta isn't that far away if you're looking to go to some good clubs.

AcademicsBeing an English major, I can't vouch for the quality of the other departments. However, the English department is solid especially once you get into the upper level courses. The basic writing and world lit classes are nothing to be sneezed at. They're a good program, and I wouldn't recommend anyone coming here if you don't want to learn how to write a good paper.
Student BodyThe student body is great. A lot of people are involved in clubs and activities. There's something for everyone!
