A Haven for Liberals...

Introduction
Kent State is a great university and I chose it because I came from a small home town and a small high school so to be on a campus as large as Kent was a cool concept for me. If you're looking into Kent, be prepared to meet tons of intersting people: you'll see new people everyday. Kent is also a very liberal university which I love. So I'd have to say if you're really conservative or want a small school where you know everyone stay away from here!

Campus Life and Social Life
No matter what day it is I'm sure you can find a party somewhere. There are tons of intramurals, work out classes, and a great gym to keep in shape. The university offers tons of clubs and there is always something to do...you'll never spend a night bored! As far as weekends go, it's mainly a commuter campus so sometimes it's dead on weekends, but there are still a decent amount of people to hang out with and party with on weekends. And if you're interested in a great time, come to Kent's Halloween. Trust me you'll never forget it! Advertisement
Academics
Kent has great academics, most of the different colleges have great professors and good academic standings. Depending on your major choice workloads can be overwhelming...but as I always tell myself if everyone before me did it, then so can I.

Student Body
Kent has such a wide range of students it is hard to generalize, there are people from all over the world who all enjoy different things. Lets put it this way, not matter what you're into there will surely be somebody on this campus to do it with!

In Closing...
Kent is a great place to be yourself, have fun, and prepare for the future, so don't be frightened by all the freakin people!
