Lot's of Attention
IntroductionKenyon is a great place for a student who wants a small school and plenty of attention from faculty and peers. It is a great place to learn and grow. If you do not like rural areas, it can be a hard adjustment and can start to feel a little old after a while, but I think that happens almost anywhere. It is a fairly liberal campus, so I do not think that a person with a very conservative background would enjoy it as much.
Campus Life and Social LifeThe social life on campus can get very redundant and at times dull, but for the most part it is a very safe place and you can always make your own fun. it's very much a work hard play hard environment which i think works to your benefit more often than not, allowing you some kind of balance. A lot of people are involved in a variety of sports/clubs and i think that is one of the schools strengths. I personally played two sports and loved every minute of it.

AcademicsThe professors at Kenyon are there for you first. They do not have a lot of extraneous obligations and are the most helpful people I have met. i learned more at Kenyon than I ever would have at a larger school. You can really focus on the things that interest you as well. The subjects are fairly broad as opposed to bigger schools. Also, there is a lot of room to try different things so if you aren't sure what you want to study you do not have to worry about fulfilling too many requirements.
Student BodyIt's a fairly tight knight community. People watch out for each other a lot of the time and it's easy to hang out with different groups of people. there are definitely cliques, as there are anywhere, but i feel like they aren't as exclusive as a lot of other places. It is a pretty safe place and the people are wonderful.
In Closing...It is a beautiful school, a great time and a great place to learn. i think that kenyon was one of the best things to happen to me and i miss it terribly, though I also know that there were times when it seemed a bit claustrophobic and redundant. No matter what, it is a place you can easily grow to love and you will come away with a fantastic education.
