Lehigh prepares you for the real world
IntroductionI chose Lehigh for its academic excellence. I felt well prepared when I graduated and entered the workforce. The univeristy is a nice size, not too big and not too small. There is a real sense of community amongst students as well as faculty and staff. It is geographically well located: close to Philadelphia and NYC, but not in a city so that students leave campus on the weekends.
Campus Life and Social LifeEveryone remains on campus. You can find classmates when you want to. There are great events on campus courtesy of clubs like University Productions and Lehigh. Additionally, Lehigh has a Greek system if you choose to pursue that option.
AcademicsLehigh is great academically. The classes are challenging and prepare you for the real world. The professors really care about students. They have various backgrounds: real life experience, published, top academic backrounds, etc.
Student BodyMost students are middle class, northeast, preppy . . . but the school has begun diversifying more.
In Closing...Lehigh is a great univeristy that made me well prepared me for life. I highly recommend the school to high school students.
