Lehigh Rocks!
IntroductionLehigh challenges you academically, especially if your pursue engineering. So be ready to make some choices when it comes to balancing work and play. The greek life is strong and very popular, but it's not the only social option. If you join a house, expect to live there for at least two years. Administration determines occupancy minimums that must be met in order for houses to maintain recognition on campus.
Campus Life and Social LifeGet your work done during the week to take advantage of everything going on during the weekend. Sports are huge, especially football and the tailgate parties before every home game. There's something every night, but the best parties are on the weekends both on and off campus.
AcademicsEvery school will have their great and not-so-great prof's. Some classes are "by the book" so memorizing the key items and undersanding the key concpets makes up for missing a few classes here and there. But you can't do well if you don't go to class.
Student BodyLots of Lehigh students are from NJ, PA, or NY. Mostly white, upper middle class. There's a reasonable amount of diversity, and Lehigh is always striving to generate more, but being yourself will help you find your crowd and fit in just fine.
