LMU( the knowing)
IntroductionIf LMU interests you, you should definitely apply to go here.
Try to strive for AP classes and at least a 3.5 on a 4.0 grading scale.
Take the ACT and SAT and try to score at least average on the tests.
Have STRONG letters of recommendation.
Volunteer works and Joining groups are important.
If you do these things, you are SURE to get in.
Campus Life and Social LifeThere are not very many students(Approximately 6,000).
The campus always has a big social life on Tuesdays and Thursdays- at lunch time on these days, there are no classes, because it is like a time where you can connect with you friends and take a break from the academics. There are always notable speakers that come to speak, and alot of weekend events also. Friday nights on campus are dead because everyone is at a party. I think that the school is too small, but the students are very nice and genuine. This is a Jesuit school, but many(almost all) of the students seem far from religious.

AcademicsI hate that a lot of the teachers take attendance. I think that the teachers could teach a little better and be more enthusiastic. If you are the type that can sit at home and never go to class BUT can get As by just reading your book and learning- so sorry because attendance is a must for most classes. The academics here are not difficult, it is just the matter of studying the material. The course load is not complicated, just the professors.
Student BodyThe students are very friendly but its not easy to meet new people, because you will generally see the same people daily. Tuesdays and Thursdays, around lunch time, are the days that you are most likely to meet new people. There is diversity here, and many skateboards.
In Closing...If you are looking for one of the most beautiful universities, near the beach and also the airport, LMU is the place to come. The school is in West Los Angeles ( the good area) and located in a residential neighborhood. The campus housing is good, and the constant breezes are good. Amazing view of the city off of the Bluff. Look at some videos of LMU on youtube.com ...
