Introduction
Don't get caught up in the party scene. The first two weeks are great and pretty wild but if you get caught up in the wrong crowd or don't go to class you'll get weeded out pretty quick.
The beach is 10 minutes away and there are 2 pools and no swim team so you can't complain when your laying out in december.
Just realize that if your from Florida you should be really independent because you can get home sick. Everything you need is probably close and right down the street and a lot of people have cars, and there's a shuttle service so rides are no problem.

Campus Life and Social Life
There are not as many house parties as there are nights at the club. Realize it can get a little bit repetitive while there are a lot of places to go in boca it might get a little old. Most people take off to West Palm Beach, Ft. Lauderdale, or Miami for the weekend.
While sports are fun, most games don't get too crowded, they're always passing out free stuff at the games to get more faces. Just realize it's not UF or a big school like that that has huge sports spirit.

Academics
As long as you show up for class and keep up with your work you'll do fine. Because its a small school ALL of your professors know you personally and are usually lenient with an absence or two and are willing to put time in for you to catch up. Just don't blow off your classes and you will love most if not all of your professors.

Student Body
Be careful who your friends are, some people transfer from being far away but some people transfer because they haven't found their crowd. Yeah there are the ass holes and bitches, but that's at any school, only because it's small the people can seem to be all around. But they're most likely the people that won't be around sophomore year.

In Closing...
It is important to know that a lot of freshman end up transferring or get kicked out for various reasons. You really have to go in with a positive attitude and really find your crowd and get involved in some sort of activity. There are plenty of things to do just don't get lazy and in party mode and you'll have a great experience
