MAC-great academics

Introduction
Bring a coat. Seriously. And if you're the type who likes huge parties then mac is not for you. We just drink in our rooms and hang out, no frat type parties really.

Campus Life and Social Life
The weekends can be a lot of fun. At first it will seem like there's NOTHING going on Friday and Saturday nights. but once you start geting to know more people, etc, then there will be more to do on weekends. If you're not a partier there are LOTS of people who don't drink and stay in on weekends. I'm not one of those people and I haven't been disappointed by the social scene on weekends. Advertisement
Academics
Academics at mac are great. There are some departments that are hugely popular on campus - mostly the social sciences, political science, anthro, sociology and econ are very very popular majors. Geography is popular too, but slightly less so. Our linguistics department is a bit of a joke though. there's one professor in the department I think.

Student Body
The typical student at mac is left-leaning and politically minded...
