Love All Around

Introduction
Coming from a Jesuit high school in the middle of a big city, I found Marquette to be the perfect school for me. I had looked at various other colleges back in my home state of Ohio, yet nothing seemed right...until I visited Marquette and fell in love.

I'm not the only one. I have yet to find a student that is not happy at Marquette. The people I know who have left have done so for purely financial reasons. No worries though -- MU's Financial Aid Office will do their best to help you out!

Campus Life and Social Life
Marquette has one of the most energetic basketball teams around. While there have been ups and downs in terms of victories, there are always great games to come due to our arrival in the Big East. Or, if you would rather play than watch sports, there are plenty of intramurals to join...which are still competitive in a fun way.

There are plenty of parties around campus on the weekend, you simply need to know where to find them. Or if partying isn't for you, there are PLENTY of other activities on campus. "Late Night" is a night that is structured as an alternative to drinking: once a month, comedians, games, activities, etc. are organized to bring the campus together.

And the bottom line is, whatever you're into on campus, if you get tired of the scene here you're in downtown Milwaukee! There's always something to do! Academics
Marquette can be very challenging, but as long as you stay on top of your work and ask for help when needed, you will succeed academically.

Student Body
There really is no typical student here: the community is big enough that you'll see new faces all of the time, but small enough to see people you know on a daily basis. It's the perfect mix for college life.
