intelligence kids abound !!!

Introduction
They offer really great need based awards and so that was a big factor – just different endowments a lot of former students, alumni set up their own scholarships for students.

Pass/No Record was really awesome for the first semester at MIT. I liked it because it allowed you to enjoy your freshman year at MIT without being too stressed about Grades that you’re getting because it’s Pass/No Record. It allowed me to explore the community more and not put so much emphasis on if I’m gonna get an A or a B or a C or things like that. I’m getting used to the curriculum now, I’m getting used to what the tests were like, my professors, what they expect from me. Probably three times harder than I studied in high school – nothing compared to high school.

Campus Life and Social Life
MIT has a really interesting set up and it’s pretty unusual – I wasn’t too pleased with it because we move in, we bring all of our stuff, our parents leave, were left with all of out luggage and then we change housing most likely. But this way it allows us to come down here and look at all the dorms, see what all the rooms look like first hand.

Academics
Everyone’s really friendly actually at MIT, the guys, they are friendly also, really down to earth. Not what I would have expected form such a prestigious school with very intelligent students. I started my freshman year here with a boyfriend of three years already so i'm not sure about the dating scene!

Student Body
We’re just outside of Boston – were right here in Cambridge, so we kind of get the best of both worlds. We have this really large lively city, Boston has everything you want a college could offer, but at the same time, were not crowded with all the Boston colleges – were here in Cambridge so it’s a little quieter, traffics not as bad. It has its own scene also.

In Closing...
Actually, plenty of students go into Boston. That’s the place to go over the weekend – they have clubs and restaurants, and it's such a hodge-podge of different ethnicities and cultures.
