Introduction
Definitely come and vist. Don't just come for the tour- but hook up with a student and stay for a Friday or Saturday night. You will go home with your decision made.

Campus Life and Social Life
Partying is awesome- any night of the week. Uptown is perfect. There is a club for anyone, and the greek system is enormous! Advertisement
Academics
The workload is typically pretty high for pre-meds and engineering. Business, finance, etc have it pretty freaking easy. The professors are generally accessible and helpful. There are few classes with foreign, confusing TAs.

Student Body
The typical student is white, good-looking, wealthy, smart. These are the student body presidents and football and cheerleading captains here. Walking to class is definitely pleasing to the eye.

In Closing...
Just don't rule out Miami because it's "in the middle of nowhere." We are closer to Cincinnati than you'd think. But the thing is, you'll never want to leave! Take this quote by Dr. Shriver:
