Not Just Preppy Heaven

Introduction
Miami is the greatest deal in Ohio, if you have the academic "numbers" to get in. The campus, the education, extracurriculars are all great. Anyone can find their niche here.

Campus Life and Social Life
Miami is not just preppy heaven. I, for example, am not in a frat and I don't have enough money to buy designer clothing...nor do I want to. I have had a great experience here and everyone I hang with lets the delusional preppy dorks do their thing while we all sit back and laugh. Any school has its collection of asses and Miami is no different, but the picture painted by the video is as far from my experience as possible. If you're not the preppy rich kid, who cares? Miami will be a great fit and you'll find your people here. Miami is full of down-to-earth, hardworking and hard-partying people. Plus: everyone is good looking. Academics
The motto here is basically "work hard, party way harder." That says it all.

Student Body
Most kids here are from the Midwest and into a variety of activites. Again, you can find your people here. You should visit campus and stay over on a Thursday night if possible, so on Friday you can check out the classes and then go out to the bars. You'll know if it's for you.
