Michigan State
IntroductionThis is the perfect school for the slightly above average student...frankly I'm here because I didn't get into Michigan (barely) and now im in the 95th percentile without oo much trouble. If you're an elite student and not offered a great scholarship package stay away because you'll find a more challenging environment elsewhere.
Campus Life and Social LifeThis is an excellent social school where partying is pretty widespread and everyone usually finds a niche. Fraternities/sorrorities aren't as popular as at some schools but do exist.

AcademicsThe residential colleges (Lyman Briggs and James Madison) and the Broad Business College are probably the best programs the university offers especially for pre-law (Madison), pre-med (Briggs) and pre-MBA (Broad). These departments offer probably the greatest workload while other departments are more lacking.
Student BodyMany different students but wouldn't be considered at diverse as say the U of Michigan. Many different locations and inetrests represented although most are in-staters.
In Closing...Fun school overall, but if you're an elite student look elsewhere.
