GREAT ENGINEERING, GREAT CAMPUS!

Rating: 4.5/5 (8 ratings)
Introduction
College is not high school. You will find yourself working hard to get the grades you want. MSOE has a challenging curriculum, but the rewards upon completion are outstanding.

Campus Life and Social Life
The best: 23 NCAA III sports including (baseball, basketball, hockey, soccer, softball, wresting, rowing/crew, volleyball, track, cross country) and great club sports (rugby, ultimate frisbee, bowling, gymnastics, fishing, paintball, judo, tae kwon do, fencing). Excellent entertainment programs: hypnotists, musicians, ventriloquists, magicians, mentalists, theater, etc. Over 60 student organizations and outstanding facilities. The weekends are fun, lots of people around and something is always taking place. Plus you are in the heart of Downtown Milwaukee (America's 22nd largest city). Worst: sometimes you are quite busy and lack the time to get involved in all you want to.

Academics
So many departments in engineering (electrical, mechanical, biomedical, computer, software, architectural and more)...nursing, business, and technical communication. There are no TA's, just professors...so you get a lot more teaching for your money.

Student Body
Students are great. With 50% of the campus in the residence halls and another 25% living in the area and 25% commuters, you definitely get to know people on campus.

In Closing...
MSOE is a great university. It has close to a 98% placement rate within your career field. Been around since 1903...so it has got to be good.
