MSOE Sucks: Don't go here don't go here... please don't go here

Introduction
If you want any kind of social life while in college – avoid MSOE at all costs!! This school is filled with introverted nerds who enjoy only two things in life: video games and school. And in that order, too. I transferred into MSOE. It has a good academic reputation, which is why I was drawn to it. Luckily, I transferred from a college nearby, so I still have the opportunity to still have a half-way normal social life. In terms of advice for others, I would only recommend MSOE if you enjoy video games, school work, and the presence of other nerds. Who knows, maybe this is the school for you. But if you see a social life in your college of choice, steer clear of here.

Campus Life and Social Life
The academics at MSOE is the only reason this school is still in existence. It has a good academic programs, which is the only reason people would want to go here. Advertisement
Academics
The professors are all good, except for a few. If you do go here, be aware that you will literally be raped with homework and assignments and exams like you have never experienced before.

Student Body
They typical student is a nerd. The typical male is socially awkward, enjoys academics a bit too much, likes anime, sweats profusely and doesn’t shower. The typical female – ha! Female? You think any females go here? Well there approximately 15% of the campus is female, which isn’t a lot at all. Not to mention that there are only about 9 good looking females on campus, and this most of them are professors (who are probably good looking by comparison). Come to think of it, there are only about 9 good looking guys around here too. Huh. Students here are into their school work and video games, as I have stated before. I would love to say more about the typical student, but only those two things come to mind.

In Closing...
One reason why this place sucks so much is the dorm life. It is mandatory for your first two years here. The worst part is they treat you like you are five years old. You have no freedom and the dorms are a dump. There is a very strict guest policy, and the security guards just sit on their ass. I have seriously never seen one move. Also, there is a no overnight guest of the opposite sex policy. This pisses me the hell off, but doesn’t seem to bother anybody else here. Yeah... like they know any girls.
