Nerds at Heart

Rating: 2.8/5 (4 ratings)
Introduction
I am no stranger to hard work. I am a sophmore right now and this last summer, I worked 60+ hours a week being a night stocker (in a grocery store) and manual labour on contract.

That short introduction was just to let the possible students know that I know what real work is. I put in about 80+ hours of school-work a week now that I am back in college. Last year I only had time to party 3 times in the whole year!!

Campus Life and Social Life
The student life programs at MSOE are very extensive and I can say I know the director and assistant director are hard dedicated workers. With the lack of free time of students, putting together free events really draws then out of studying. The parties around campus consisted of getting drunk and that is about it (even with beer goggles the parties are only 10% girls)

Academics
I really like the hands on experience of chemistry and physics, but the quarters are too short to really experiment on your own. The Math departments is packed with some good profs and some bad but it depends more on the student. The Math department has a Prof. for everyone. The humanites and scoial sciences are slightly easier than my high school, but I still get ideas and ways of thinking introduced to me.

Student Body
If you think of MSOE just think nerd, dork and geek. (I was told by my sister( 22) that we have a lot of cute guys here.) The cafe talks consist of computer talk, homework questions, and bitching about Prof. with the daily game of chess by some.

In Closing...
Oh the cafe food is just sustanence!!!!! Remember that!!!!!
