Preparation

Rating: 3.1/5 (44 ratings)
Introduction
Great school, gets you prepared for the real world. It is a lot of work, but well worth it because you feel well above anyone else when you start working after school. It is not a school to go to if you are just interested in partying, though there is plenty of it out there. You also won't get much sleep going here. If you are looking to be an Engineer this is a great school to go to!

Campus Life and Social Life
Partying was fun, clubs were great, sports not so much. Weekends were a ton of fun in downtown Milwaukee. Very close to other colleges for hard core collge partying. Worst thing is the guy to girl ratio...too many guys! Lots of fun bars with in walking distance and the bars are cheap...you can easly get drunk for $20 or less. The school is what you make it and I think that pretty much goes for any college you choose.
Academics
Professors are very good & hands on, work load is very high, class sizes are very small and no TA's which is nice. You actually learn!

Student Body
Nerds from the Midwest that are into computers make up about 60% of the campus the rest of the folks are a lot of fun and willing to go out and party it up some. Lot of students turn to drinking because school is very stressful, but it is a fun thing to do on the weekend and explore all of Milwaukee's fun bars. Work hard and play hard is a good motto to have.

In Closing...
If you like sitting behind a computer all day it is the school for you, but climb out your shell and Milwaukee has a ton to offer!
