MNSU
IntroductionThe school is not too big, and not too small. Great size if you are coming from a small town, and don't want to be overwhelmed; and same for the other way around if you live in a big city and want something smaller. Anyone that wants to go to a party school, because this not. You can find a party 3 nights out of the week, but its not what life is centered around here at MNSU-Mankato.
Campus Life and Social LifeCampus is very compact, and I think that makes it way more enjoyable. Even if you only have a few friends here, you are bound to run into them walking to or from a class pretty often. Partying is deffinately here, but its not the circle of life. Sports are very fun, especially the hockey games. Not the best team, but definately worth going to. Plus their free!! Tons of clubs you can join, or start. Weekends can be pretty mellow if you stay on campus, because many people go home on the weekends. But if you want to party, just make a few phone calls, and you can definately find a few.

AcademicsI'm ending my freshman year, and all the professors and ta's seem very good. There are big classes, but you can get the teachers help if you need it. It was the perfect adjustment for me from a small high school to a "University". Homework is just like homework. I'm taking my generals right now, and I don't study that much. I should. But I don't. I cram for tests, and do my work, but I have been getting a B average so I am happy.
Student BodyThere is great diversity on this campus. It is definately fun to meet people from different countries and learn about them. The student body in general, I would say, is normal for a college. Some people like to party, some do not. It's the perfect match for all types.
In Closing...This school is a great place to go to college. I think all my friends would agree wtih me. Even if its not your first choice, there is no reason that you won't like it if you end up coming here.
