Great School for Design

Introduction
Getting into Parsons can be tough but not impossible. At the same time staying in Parsons can be tough too. Being organized is one of the most important skills you should have to achieve in Parsons. I chose Parsons because of its location, reputation and the variety of programs it has and diversity of students. People who don't trust themselves in their ideas and creations should stay away from Parsons.

Campus Life and Social Life
Partying, sports, clubs and weekends are just like how New York partying, sports, clubs and weekends should be. It is amazing, full of experience and no time to waste. If you wanna party just follow a random person on the street but I have to admit that you might get addicted. YMCA or The New York Sports Club are the most popular sports clubs in NYC. The weekends are mostly spent in the bed, sleeping and it is time to do homework on Sunday night when you are counting down the hours for your first class. Advertisement
Academics
Parsons is the design school of The New School University. In Parsons, fashion department is the most popular department. However there are other departments such as communication design, product design, design and technology, design and management, illustration, fine arts and small departments that I can't name right now. There are Professors who spent their lives working in world design and became famous with their works of art. The workload depends on what department you are in. For instance, if you're in Fashion you have insane amount of work to do and if you're in communication design you mostly have fair amount of work to do.

Student Body
There is no way that I can describe the "typical" student of Parsons because there is none! Everyone is different than each other. There are students from all around the world. THEY ARE INTO DESIGN, creating new things to make the world look better.

In Closing...
Parsons might be tough to get into and go through but believe me it's worth it for New York City.
