Know what youre getting yourself into

Introduction
You need to realize that NYU does not have a campus and that this will affect your college experience.

Campus Life and Social Life
Socially, people are not very friendly. Academics
Academically, make sure you understand the school (Arts and Sciences, Tisch, etc..) you\\'re getting into because you will only be able to take very few classes in another school. And of course, the prereqs suck.

Student Body
Many of the students are intelligent but dumb in that they buy into every thing the professors tell them and are ridiculously sheltered and naive.

In Closing...
There is also a big gap between those that dorm and those that commute.
