dorm room explosion
IntroductionIf you go to classes they’re easy if you go to them and do all the work then they’re very easy like a few of us were in honors and it’s not like they’re impossible. If you don’t go to them and you don’t do anything. Like they take attendance, you can only miss like 3 classes or else your grade is dropped and if you miss 5, you’re kicked out of the class.
Well, my dorm blew up…last week. There was an explosion and it burned down. It was fun before then. Now it’s not fun because I’m not in it anymore, but it was nice like meeting a lot of people I not like close friends with anyone in my dorm. And it wasn’t bad living with another person because my roommate was always with her boyfriend and so I somewhat manipulated her to not come back into the room, a lot. So yeah, it was okay.
Campus Life and Social LifeFor the actual cafeterias there’s two and then there’s this place called Outtakes, you can take a certain amount of food out.
Walking is the best option - cabs are expensive and the T is slow.
AcademicsThere are fraternities and since there are no sorority houses, and Greek life isn’t huge at this school, there aren’t enough parties that I could say anyone could go to. And the cops are up our tushies.
My least favorite thing is the Police. They’re just everywhere.
Student BodyIt’s not an Ivy League school, but it’s not an easy school. I mean, I wouldn’t consider it a safety school for many people…it’s been getting much harder to get into, but once you’re here, if you really work hard, I think it’s very manageable. I would say 15 people per class. They’re not enormous.
In Closing...I actually find that the diversity at this school is good. There’s a great foreign population and there’s people from all over the United States and that’s actually pretty good. Everyone’s just very mixed, which I really like. Going to private school I had people from all over, different cultures, different backgrounds.
