Great Resources

Rating: 2/5 (34 ratings)
Introduction
If you are planing to go to Northeatern the best advice is to take advantage of all its resources. NU is a school with oportunities like no other. The reason why I chose it rather than other schools like BU or Harvard was because of its strong sense of community and pride, not to mention its beautiful campus and growing prestige. If you are the kind of student who doesn't like to meet new people and have fun this isn't the place for you.

Campus Life and Social Life
The social life at NU is like any other college. There are many programs and activities to get involved in. Sports, especially hockey are fun and interesting. The only problem with NU is that it's not a big sports school like the more famous BC. Being in a city like Boston, there are many things to do on the weekend, so you are not limited to be just on campus.
Academics
The academics I must say are very challenging. Health and Engineering are big in this school and there are many programs to choose from. The thing that makes NU special is its goal in giving its students the best education. By hiring 100 new professors the University is not putting tuiton dollars to waste. The thing that puts NU ahead to that of other universities is the CO-OP: its mix of class room and real world experence is hard to beat.

Student Body
Very diverse lots of kids from all over, the majority from Boston. Students here are very outgoing, friendly and very driven.

In Closing...
NU is the place to be. If you are looking for the ultimate college experence this is the place for you.

P.S. GO HUSKIES!!!!!!!!
