I'd Rather be at the University of Michigan

Rating: 4/5 (16 ratings)
Introduction
I do think that OSU is a hard school to get in to, but its best with any school to take AP classes in High school at get good test scores. I choose OSU as a fall back school to Uni of Michigan. OSU has all the majors that I was considering: Architecture, Visual Communication Design, Industrial Design, and Interior Design. Most colleges don't have all of these programs. You should stay away from OSU if, your from michigan and like your state or if your a michigan fan. I'm from Michigan and I'm a michigan fan and People don't like me for that. It's tough, but I'm trying to transfer to U of Michigan.

Campus Life and Social Life
If you want to go out and party, it's easy to find someone and go. There are parties everywhere every night of the week. But if your not into that scene, theres plenty of other stuff going on and the dorms are always a fun place to hang out.
Academics
The academics are good. One thing that I noticed is that none of my TA's or proff's know my name or try to get to know me. The school is so big and so many classes to choose from. I have yet to have a class that really challenges me.

Student Body
Most students are from ohio and are crazy Buckeye fans. There is a lot of diversity , not racially diverse, but when it comes to a persons gender preference. People like and want to party a lot, but there is a lot that are focused on academics too.

In Closing...
OSU is a fun school and people are friendly, except if your from michigan. I wish that there wasn't such a hatred towards Michigan. It's BIG.
