Boone State

Introduction
This is a great school with good professors and really nice people, unlike OU's snobby students. The campus is beautiful and the majors are more specialized than most. I would not come here if I were extremely extremely liberal. We have many liberals, like myself, but overall more conservatives. But we do need more liberals so lets change that part of OSU. The biggest dissapointment is dry campus. We also consume 1% of the nation's beer. Ya doesn't sound like much but think thats one town with 1% of a whole nation. We do it right.

Campus Life and Social Life
The social life is great, especially if you are 21. We have by far the cheapest bars with specials every night. If you aren't 21 the parties still hop all over town, but don't drive cause the cops are assholes. The intramural sports rock with the new Colvin center and the greek life is growing faster by the year. Plenty of clubs to go around. Academics
The workload and professors are great very approachable and easy to talk to. The Ag dep., is tops, especially the Vet school. Enginering and Journalism/Broadcasting departments both top ten in nation, English and business departments are very good, and music and architecture are also good. The worst is probably art and the other departments lack what the ag and engineering department have.

Student Body
The typical student is laid back nice very personable and easy to talk to. Most students dress normal for class: not to dressy but not ratty. The students are mostly from texas and oklahoma and most are into partying, music, and partying.

In Closing...
I love my campus and our teachers. I would reccomend this college to anyone who wants a laid back good time in college. This college really is not for the snobby so if you are, maybe steer clear.
