Introduction
This place is so big there are groups of everyone – they’re all different. Everyone can fit in if you find the people who enjoy the same things you do. Usually the kids that don’t fit in are the quieter ones – the ones that don’t venture out and maybe cross a barrier, talk to somebody they might feel shy about.

Campus Life and Social Life
All the fraternities are always usually open. They’re always looking for new rushes and pledges and whatnot. Usually, that’s where most kids go. There’s always apartments, freshman, a lot of freshman know upper classman brother and sisters, friends, always go there. Definitely a big party scene at Penn State. Campus is definitely large but you have busses running everywhere and you can always walk – its not that bad to get a round, as long as, you gotta give yourself a few more minuets than normal, it’s not that bad. Dorm rooms definitely aren’t that big but I guess you just got to deal with it. You have a meal plan – you’re meal plan is as large or small as you want to make it, depending on how much you think you’ll be eating there. And it’s all on your ID card. You just swipe it and it’s a point system, based on what you order.

Academics
The classes are definitely big. You get lectures that have 350, 400 kids in it but its usually not that bad. With those big lecture classes you usually have a TA session where the classes are smaller, down to 30 so it’s not that bad.

I’ve always had positive experiences emailing them, them getting back to me in a timely manner and what not; it’s always pretty easy to get a hold of them.

Student Body
It’s pretty much; you get out of it what you want to put in into it. If you want to introduce yourself to people – if you want to go up to people that have the same interests as you – if you want to just go around talking to people and find tons of friends, you’ll fit right in. If you want to be quiet and anti social it probably wont be fun for you.
It’s definitely good to be social to make friends at Penn State. I think it’d be pretty tough if you’re not gonna be social to find people to make friends with. There are cliques, I mean it’s definitely different than high school, a lot less than there was in high school. People are a lot more chill about things not weird or different like they are in high school, but there still cliques here.

In Closing...
Football games are definitely fun. The city triples, it becomes the second largest city in PA on football weekends, there’s always tailgating to be done, people going crazy, getting rowdy for the games. The student section is a blast to be in.
There are definitely a lot of girls and not too hard to meet them and so if you’re looking at it from that view it’s a pretty good place to come.
