IntroductionFor students considering Piedmont College, this is definetly a school that is very small and located in a very small town. Students are very focused on their classes and grades, so it not really a "party school". So if you are looking for a school to be going to parties every night I would definetly steer clear of Piedmont. Students really have a sense of what they want in life and know how they are they are going to get there.
Campus Life and Social LifeSports at Piedmont College is that...yes, they do exist, but they are really the focus of the campus. Most students are recruited for their sports that they play, but some sports will let incoming or current students try-out. One thing though is that we do not have a football team, so sorry to all of the football fans out there.

AcademicsThe academics at Piedmont are definetly limited because it is such a small school. If they do, however, have the major that you want, then you can expect that you will be having to work to earn your grades. The professors do not give anyone (even jocks) a free pass on grades. Probably the best department at Piedmont is the Science Department just because I am a Biology major, but you really do not hear that many complaints with the Science Department. The other deprtment that seems to have a really god reputation is Business. The department that you really hear the most complaints about is the English Deaprtment, just because some of the teachers are picky and paticular when it comes to grading. Plus, sometimes it feels as though you can never please some of them.
Student BodyParting and clubs is kind of non-existence. In that in Demorest, Georgia or actually Habersham County there is no clubs that are not at least two hours away. There are some parties around or on campus, but probably no alcohol at the ones on campus, because there is a very, very strict alcohol policy on campus. That is the one mistake that some freshmen makeis seeing if they can get by alcohol policy and most don't. So really don't try it.
In Closing...Piedmont is a good school and if you are looking to go to a small school, then you will absolutely love it. It is really easy to make friends fast on campus that you will have a lot in common with. And even though it is in a very small town you can always find someone and something to do on weekends or late nites.
