Ins and Outs

Introduction
I came to Purdue because it had three things I really wanted and one was engineering – two was I’m on the ice hockey team and three, the university band program is phenomenal.

Campus Life and Social Life
The Purdue engineering school definitely is the top 25 in the nation and it is very demanding and takes a lot of work and really no room for error. Advertisement
Academics
Girls in the class – there are a very good chunk of women in the class – definitely with SWE, Society of Women Engineers; there are definitely a good number of engineering students that are women.

Student Body
It really depends on the discipline of the class but most of the time if you take the initiative to go to the professor and talk to him multiple times he will, most of the time, in my case, they will remember your name.

In Closing...
Work load and class load really depends on what type of engineering and what type of classes you are in – but definitely with engineering you’re gonna be working anyway – there’s in and out of anything.
