On the Rhodes

Introduction
It is a smart school. There is some breather room, but if you don't care about succeeding, don't come to Rhodes. It also has a gorgeous, safe campus - and for the most part people are honest and friendly - probably more so than other schools.

Campus Life and Social Life
If you like to party occasionally, but when you do you want it to be hard, then Rhodes has a Greek life that is observant of that. If you want to hang out, most of the dorms have cool common rooms with relaxed students occupying them. Go to sports if you want to support your friends - not if you want to win many games. Academics
I can't say anything about the science and math departments, but the English, economics, and philosophy departments are beast. They make you work for the grade, but afterwards you feel accomplished and you know more than you expected.
