Analytical look at SCSU

Introduction
Any student who wants to join Saint Cloud State University needs to understand its atmosphere. SCSU is one of the universities with a larger-than-average number of International students, which means that any new student should prepare him/herself to experience interaction with a variety of students from different cultural backgrounds.

I personally joined SCSU due to its unique "Cultural Sharing" Scholarship Program, which asks that students pay a very reasonable tuition fee for every semester.

A student who is not serious about working hard or getting good grades should not come to SCSU. And any new student who is not comfortable studying or interacting in an academic atmosphere with students of broad cultural diversity should avoid SCSU.

Campus Life and Social Life
The best social and campus life can be seen on any cultural nights arranged by International students from different countries. The worst campus life occurs during the holidays when there are no students around the campus.

Weekends are enjoyable and busy and not boring. Most of the time, students can find opportunities to participate in different interesting events and activities. Academics
Academically: the Departments of Business, Mass Communication and Visual Arts are great. But the Department of Engineering sucks. Most of the Professors are very cooperative and work hard to improve the quality of studies. We can say that every 8 out of 10 Professors are great. TA's are available but only a few students seek help from them. TA's for the Engineering Department are busier than any other department. Overall, workload at SCSU is high.

Student Body
Saint Cloud State University has students from different cultures, backgrounds and locations. The majority study Computer Science or Business.

In Closing...
In conclusion, according to my point of view, SCSU is a great and valuable academic place for students. SCSU provides a unique, innovative and new academic atmosphere for students and at the same time, it creates an atmosphere defined by different cultural backgrounds. The Cultural Sharing Scholarship is the most unique draw of SCSU.
