SCSU - MN
IntroductionYou need mediocre grades to get into this particular college, and a pretty darn good ACT score. Students who are going to college solely to party or do drugs should stay away from this school, as there is a strict alcohol and drug policy. If you're looking to expand your interests or try something new, this would be a good place for you, since it offers a variety of different majors and minors and plenty of active clubs to join.
Campus Life and Social LifeIt's very easy to make friends at SCSU. Your roommate becomes your best bud and dorm hall meetings are held every week, giving you a chance to talk to people in your building. There are plenty of coffee shops and hangout hotspots in St. Cloud, too, so weekends away are never boring.
The campus itself is rather beautiful. That architecture of the buildings is unique and pleasing to the eye. Dorms are spacious and buildings are fully equipped with kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, and study areas.
SCSU has a hockey team called the Huskies. They do fairly well each year and games are fun to attend and promote bonding throughout the entire campus.

AcademicsAlmost all of the departments are great. The professors are kind and helpful and it's easy to find time to sit and talk with them about assignments. The workload varies, depending on what your major is and what class you're taking. Very similar to high school, it all depends.
Student BodyThe student body is very diverse. There are exchange students from many different countries and clubs to help others celebrate and understand different cultures. Most students are friendly and open-minded both racially and religiously.
In Closing...SCSC is a very enjoyable place to get a secondary education.
