What the North country is really like!

Introduction
I think this school has some phenomenal facilities, but that's about it. The athletics are dope, but the teachers are a joke, and the social life akin to Afghanistan; bombed out and depleted.

Socially, this is a school that you can enjoy if you have a few close freinds here and you have the capacity to entertain yourselves. Otherwise, there is nothing to do in Canton, and I heard one student refer to this place as a black hole of misery.

But dont let me get you all down, because there are some sweet buildings, residences, and athletic facilities. If your are playing a sport, you may actually have some fun.

Campus Life and Social Life
Lots of clubs to join, if you like school involvement, this place is for you. On the downside, many of these groups just get made fun of my the majority of campus and they are really for kids with nothing better to do.

There are no fun party like events that are sponsored by the school, and that's the downside. Because there is really nothing to do in this town. I'm talking two bars, no joke, and one of them is shit. If the school had a better on campus social scene and not an SS regime posing as campus security, it could be better. The administration wants this to be a dry campus. Nuff said. The greeks do what they can, but overall, a very...flacid.... social scene.

Academics
This school does have a great academic reputation and a very solid alumni base that makes the job search exceptional. A lot of your classes however will be taught by visiting proffesors (if you're in Gov, econ, Math, history, or soc) and its great to think that $40,000 a year is getting you shit grades from someone who doesn't speak engish well and is like eight months older than you are.

Student Body
We call them Larrys

They went to a prep school. Wear their collar popped. Have at least 5 pink or yellow polo shirts, flip flops and sunglasses with a band around them. they are from New WEngland so they always have a Red Sox hat on.

Then there are a bunch of hippies, and some dicks who play sports and have fun no matter what.
A few cute girls, however the female greek system is so much stronger than the male one, so be ready for some hard to please rich girls who are more concered about what others think about them than just having fun.
