The School
IntroductionIt's different frm high school. Don't expect the proffesors to chase after you to turn in your homework, or if you miss class its your responsibility. Don't get me wrong, I've met a lot of great proffesors there who do care about their students
Campus Life and Social LifeI live off campus, far from school in San Francisco, I dont know much about party life on campus or near. I am sure there is a lot of partying going on, but its not out of control. Greek orgs usually have parties at clubs. Those are pretty cool, and are 99% of the time 18+ so any one can come. We don't have a football team but we do have the field for it. Basketball seems to be the best sport there. There are a lot of greek orgs, I'd recommend checking them ALL out see which one you like best to join. The campus is alive mon-thur. Specially around 10a-2p at the quad. I'm not there on weekends though, its a commuter school.

AcademicsYou will get nice professors and bad ones. Work load all depends. When I started is was hard when I got my first 10-15pg paper something I never did in High School. Just do your work. Keep up and go to study groups. Talk to your professors. They are sometimes accessible. I had one who NEVER had time to see me during his hours.
Student BodyThere is a lot of students frm southern Cal. and a lot from the Bay. Students there are pretty friendly.
