Awesome School!

Introduction
You should choose this school if you really love the arts. If you're looking to major in: animation, movie directing, sequential art, industrial design, graphic arts, painting, etc. this school rocks! If you want to make big bucks and get a great job, then go here! Hollywood comes down and hires people for all types of jobs. If you're looking to go into any business movie wise, this is the place to start. If you don't have any talent whatsoever, but your life long dream is to draw - no problem they will teach you. Everyone starts fresh. Everyone starts on a clean plate. For the first 2 years.

If you don't like art then don't go to this school. It's not a bussiness school or anything with buisness or other nessecities just arts.

Campus Life and Social Life
Savannah is a city so there are lots of parties. If you're not down for partying, you can go for a walk on River street and eat or shop. It is a city, but small town city. Very old style and mellow. If you need a project to do and can't sleep at night most of the facilities are open 24/7. Down at the college art store they have any art supply you can think of on 3 floors of art supplies, from painting boards of all sizes to outstanding discounts and prices. Every Oct. there is a movie film festival and celebrities come down to talk with students and interact with them. Advertisement
Academics
Every department is great. It depends on your major. For the first two years everyone starts off on the same level unless you are taking architecture then you may need some extra math courses. Freshman year is probably the same as in any college - work loads vary, but imagine getting drawing assigned HW. Well, here that happens. If you love to draw and spend time viewing and drawing things then this is the place to come. For first time students who do not know how to draw - no worries these are basics that everyone starts out with. Over time you will progressively get better. You come here to learn.

Student Body
It's a mix of instate and out of state, and country. Everyone has their own scene here just like at any other school. It's a small school, but growing each year by the thousands. There are always people to hang out with. So if your buddy is busy then chill with you dorm mate. If not then go to the lab and do some work, walk around town or work out at the athletic complex.

In Closing...
Great school, great food, great people and great hospitality. Savannah is a beautiful city and famous for such film's as "Miidnight summer's garden", One Tree Hill, Forest gump, etc. It's a city of elegance, fashion, and is expanding to greater heights. Weather is always warm and if you hate snow then come down South where it's warm.
