SCAD
IntroductionIf you are interested in art you should go to this school, otherwise if you don't like anything in the arts such as graphic arts, film, photography, game design, architecture, etc. then don't go here if you don't want to major in those majors. I chose it because of its career options after college and because of its wide range of programs. A book worm or AP student should stay away from this school and if you don't like to draw then DON'T go here.
Campus Life and Social LifeSports here suck you need to be on a scholarship or a division 2 player to join a sport here. They have no club sports only ultimate Frisbee. Partying is OK you just need to know where ot find a party. We have a wide range of club, but mostly awareness clubs and boring clubs. For a school with 10,000 kids there aren't that many clubs about 20-30. Weekends are awesome. We have fridays off so that gives us a 3 day weekend, but that extras day off is for HW and depending on your teacher then you might get a lot of HW or not that much.

AcademicsThere are no TAs, but the work load is fluctuated depending on teachers. For the foundation courses then yes you will get a lot of HW enough to take up your weekends, but it all depends on Professor too. If you want to get a good education then you pick the best professor. you pick your professor online by time slots if you take an AP course in high school then your time slot will be early in the day and will you get to pick the best professors. If you don't take an AP course then your time slot will be later on in the day and you get stuck with the worst professors who give wither alot of HW or not a lot of HW, but your parents are paying $250 a class and classes go into 10 weeks. You don't get actual HE except in the English classes, but you are assigned projects the are due in a week or 2. It gives you time to mange time, but then again you could be pulling all nighters.
Student Bodythere are wide range of students here from all over the world. A lot are from the south, international, and north. Most students like music and smoking....not one of my things to do, but everyone I've seen smokes.
In Closing...Savannah is a great city during the day, but at night it gets iffy if you don't have a car and walk around at night. The buses are unreliable and last quarter 2 students got robbed in their dorm at gun point, since then security as upgraded big time. If you're a city person and like culture then go here if not then i wouldn't recommend it.
