Redhawks, Baby, Redhawks!
IntroductionYou've got to come and visit SEMO. When I came to tour the campus, I was surprised at how beautiful the place was. I chose it because it's good academically and not as expensive as some other D-1-size schools. The area's nice. But I will caution you to stay away if you don't like walking up and down hills...
Campus Life and Social LifeThere is a lot of partying, especially on Thursday and Friday nights. We have D-1 sports and lots of clubs in Cape Girardeau. Weekends can be kinda quiet because a lot of people go into St. Louis. On the bright side...you can go to St. Louis!

AcademicsI really like the fact that there are small classes and the professors know your name. The Education and Polytechnic Departments are great. Soon, there will be a new River Campus for Fine Arts too. I haven't had one professor I didn't like.
Student BodyMost students are from the St. Louis area, but there are also a lot of people from Washington, Illinois, Texas, California, Florida and other countries like Japan. A lot of them are into sports and participate in different groups like the Baptist Student Union. And of course, Greek Life. The school is 62% female / 38% male.
In Closing...Overall, I really like the school and plan to stay. It is a place where you'll meet so many new people every day, but also find a lot of good friends.
