Good Education

Rating: 2/5 (90 ratings)
Introduction
If you are looking in the Boston area, consider Suffolk. Its a good school with an above average academic reputation. I came to Suffolk because the atmosphere was kind and caring. So far, I love being here too. It is a party school, but students do work hard. Do not come here if you are intolerant of other lifestyles or looking for highly competitve academics. This is an urban campus, which I enjoy. If you do not like an urban setting, look elsewhere.

Campus Life and Social Life
Everyone likes to party. That can be a best and worst.

Sports are non existant.

Clubs are great, but you need to take initative and get involved.

Weekends are great... the Boston area has amazing things going on.

Academics
The school has a good academic reputation which is growing quickly. Work load is challenging, but not too bad if you are committed to learning. Professors push you too. Many students do struggle because Suffolk typical accepts many students. However, the acceptance rate dropped this year from 81% to 67%. That is equivalent to Boston University's acceptance rate currently. This means "good" and "qualified" students should inundate the class rooms and ostrasize the idiots, hopefully throwing them out eventually! I would say it is diffciult to get an A grade, and like others have said, you will stress trying to do so.

Student Body
The social life is very good. Students are friendly. It does seem like everyone is rich here.

Weekend= parties

Sports= professional ssports like the Red Sox, Patriots, Celtics, etc. We have no College Sports... or we do. but division 3.

In Closing...
I enjoy it.. im a sophomore. I did well on the SATs and in HS. If you are willing to go to school to learn and work hard you will succeed. Suffolk is what you make of it. If you have a poor attitude and do not give places a chance, anywhere will be the worst school ever.
