Suffolk Pride

Rating: 3/5 (30 ratings)
Introduction
Suffolk is a very underrated school. The professors are great, classes are stimulating and there is always something to do here. Besides the fact that Boston is one of the greatest cities, Suffolk is in the best location and offers a ton of things to do.

Campus Life and Social Life
Sports are very limited. But, Suffolk is right in the middle of the best clubs and nightlife that Boston has to offer. Also, because so many people have apartments in the city, there is always something going on at an apartment somewhere in the city. There is never nothing to do.

Academics
The math department leaves something to be desired in terms of professors. The science department has great professors but the facilities need to be remodeled. Other than that I would say that each department has a great group of professors who challenge you but understand that you are human at the same time. They encourage experiential learning whenever possible.

Student Body
Suffolk has tons of clubs to get involved with. In fact, if you come to Suffolk and don't get involved you won't like it. You need to join at least one organization to really feel what it is like to be a part of the Suffolk family.

In Closing...
You should try Suffolk out. It is in the process of growing and expanding and becoming more selective. They have re-vamped the curriculum and are really working toward being a competitive University in Boston.
