Introduction
You should definitely take a tour before coming here. If you think the campus looks like it does in the brochures, you're wrong. If you can get past the fact that the campus is in the middle of the ghetto and find your niche of people, you'll survive and have a blast here.

If you're a tight-ass that doesn't like to party, and wants to spend all of their time in the library, you will be miserable here. We'll basically eat you alive. If you're the party-hardy extrovert that the majority of us are, all you need is a fake and you'll be in the bars in no time.

Great sports program, although of late, our teams have started to slack. Our football team blows, but that's all the more reason to get extremely drunk before game time.

Want to be in the entertainment industry, become famous and/or rich. Newhouse is the school for you. Just the fact that you have gone to Syracuse gets you the job over some other schmuck. But if you've got Newhouse on your resume, too? No doubt you'll get the job leaving school.

Campus Life and Social Life
Weekends are pretty much all the time. Big bar days are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (Happy Hour) and Senior Sunday @ Faegan's if you're a senior. Most house parties or frat parties take place on Saturdays.

Go Greek, or you may find yourself asking your greek friends where the parties are. Plus, it's a great chance to make new friends and set up a network for when you leave school. Academics

In Closing...
It doesn't matter if you drive a Range Rover or an '84 Honda. You'll find your group of people and get drunk with everyone anyway. Also, do a search for "Mayfest" on YouTube and TheFaceBook, and you'll see just why you want to come to SU. Go Orange!
