Syracuse is The Best!

Rating: 2/5 (67 ratings)
Introduction
I chose Syracuse because I wanted a large diverse campus that would take me away from the small Catholic school I had attended. Here at SU, there is so much to do, so much to study, and so many different kinds of people from all over the world. It opened my eyes to alot of stuff I had never seen. I also liked the idea of going to a school with lots of school spirit. The Orangemen are the best to cheer for. Don't let the threat of snow and/or cold scare you. One downside - if you are looking for a small school, this isn't the place for you.

Campus Life and Social Life
Whatever you are into, SU has. You can be involved in as little or as much as you want. You don't have to be in the Greek system to have a life. Weekends are spent at the bars, at parties, playing clubs sports, lounging around, talking to friends, and studying at Schine Library (sometimes!).
Academics
As far as Academics go, the Policy Studies program in the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs was great. Prof. Coplin rocked. The workload is tough, but definetely doable.

Student Body
Most kids are from the tri-state, NY, CT NJ area--but there kids from all over the U.S. Although most students here are white, their is a large minority population as well as an international population.

In Closing...
Go Orangemen!
