IntroductionIf you're all about going to a party school, don't come here. I came here for cheesesteaks, and I'm staying for friends. For out of state students it's pretty expensive, for a public school. Housing isn't guaranteed after freshman year, but there are plenty of choices in the safe part of the surrounding area.
Campus Life and Social LifeIt's pretty empty on weekends (a lotta people go home... and there are a lotta commuters.) The parties are alright. They start and end early in comparison to other schools. They always run outta beverages early, and sometimes parties are hard to find. (hopefully I can change some of this in my new place). Although there are all those negatives to the party scene, I've had fun at almost every TU party I've been to. I didn't join any clubs, but most of the sports teams suck.

AcademicsThe journalism dept is allegedly pretty awesome. The English dept sucks. You don't get grades throughout the class, so you don't know whether or not you have a chance of passing through the class. No grades until the end (based on a portfolio of papers that you're allowed to revise over the semester). I failed and had no idea my papers were that bad. Another thing is, almost all of the English "professors" are grad students. Workloads aren't too bad (unless you're lazy, like me). I had this one TA that took over every class she was the TA for (I was in two of those classes.) She was annoying, but my other TAs have been pretty nice. The professors I've had for the most part have been helpful, in terms of giving time to talk to/see them.
Student BodyThis is a repeat question...
In Closing...I talk shit about TU a lot, but still, knowing what I know now... I'd still choose TU.
