Conservatives know how to Party

Rating: 2/5 (83 ratings)
Introduction
It can get crazy around here. I think a lot of people think because it’s a conservative school, maybe things don’t get crazy but we like to have our fun just like any other school and I think you can expect big parties. We have a really big religion community here specifically I know I’m Catholic and we have a big community for that a lot of people get involved and it’s really great.

Campus Life and Social Life
We have Midnight Yell Practice before football games. Every time at midnight the night before the game, we practice cheers and make fun of the other team and just go out there and hope that we can kick their butts.

Academics
It’s definitely competitive. You’re competing with 44,000 other students…We have a pretty big network system among Aggies and we like to help each other out and I think that helps out a lot.

Student Body
Being involved in sports you get people from out of the country and out of the state. We have a lot of East Coast people, Washington, California that we recruit and come here. I know we have some people from Australia, some people from Mexico. So we do like to recruit outsides of the state definitely and outside of the country.

In Closing...
Overall, as much fun as I’ve had and what I’ve gotten in return basically exceeded my expectations and I would recommend a lot of people to look into coming to A&M because you’re going to have a good time.
