Texas State

Introduction
Texas State is a great alternative to the other large schools in Texas. Its diverse coursework, great location and its affordable tuition made me choose Texas State.

Campus Life and Social Life
To simply put it, everyone on campus is friendly. You have to lock yourself in the closet to miss out on a good time. We have a crystal clean river, coffee shop, humidor, hookah bar, head shop, great bars and Greeks all within a mile from campus. Even if your underage there is always something going on in the square. There are also tons of organizations at Texas State if you want to get involved. The sports are Texas State aren't the greatest, however we are getting better. Advertisement
Academics
As the slogan says "Texas State is the rising star of Texas". Texas State was originally a teaching school...and it has remained so till this day. If your a liberal arts major come to Texas State. However, McCoy school of business is also very competitive. All of the professors speak English and teach the material well. In fact they make the material entertaining and enjoyable while learning.

Student Body
If you sit in your dorm all day life may be boring. Other than that it will be a fun time.
