Thomas Jefferson University

Rating: 5/5 (99 ratings)
Introduction
Submit application early and there is a lot of paper work that must be done before you can step foot into the school so have all of that done ASAP.
I choose Jefferson because it is one of the best schools-if not the best-in the city of Philadelphia for Health Professions, such as Nursing which is an incredible program there, and Medical school.

Campus Life and Social Life
Jefferson is in one of the most active parts of the city (Old City) and there are TONS of upscale bars, clubs and rerstaurants surrounding the school. Campus life is cool because you are right in the city and there are tons of people. There are no sports there. Weekends-if you live on campus-are crazy because everyone pretty much parties in that area of the city because of all of the bars and restaurants.

Academics
Getting in was pretty tough. The teachers keep telling us they expect a lot from us because we were "obviously smart enough to be here". Nursing Department is incredible and the teachers are so awesome-they're kind, tough and so intelligent. Workload is a lot with major reading assignments every week.

Student Body
Social life and campus life are great because of the part of the city the school is in.

In Closing...
Begin applying EARLY because you have a lot of paper work to do before you are even allowed to step foot in the door in September.
