Come One, Come All
IntroductionI chose my school because they offered me the largest scholarship to attend. This school is for any student...in my opinion, there isn't any student that should shy away from looking into the place because there is something here for everyone. Even if you are not sure what you want to study, Towson is great for a Liberal Arts education. You can certainly explore your interests and feel things out before you delve into something.
Campus Life and Social LifeTowson has a very active social scene. Whatever your interests are, you can be sure to find outlets for them here. Yes, parties are easy to come by and so are lots of sporting events, including at the neighboring colleges. You don't need a car to find something cool. Weekends are pretty chill, but it depends on what part of campus you live on. The best nights are Thursdays and Fridays.

AcademicsAcademics depends on your major. Great, magnificent Education, Buisness and Music Departments...and our Nursing Program was recently accredited. There are over 80 programs available in total. Professors are all-around great teachers that want to you to learn and ask questions, but don't waste their time. They will work with you and they are very accessible. If you are an Education major, be prepared to work.
Student BodyMost students are from Maryland, New Jersy and New York, but they come from other places as well. There is also a large international student body too. The typical students has just above a 3.0 GPA...
In Closing...I love Towson, although school spirit could be better. Towson has a great relationship with the state of Maryland and we have received numerous grants to update facilities.
