Trinity Truths

Rating: 4/5 (30 ratings)
Introduction
Trinity can be a very exclusive school at times. I chose Trinity because it was the only school I got into. I had a great 3 years there, but I needed a change. The athletics are exceptional, I was part of 3 championship football teams and the squash teams are national champs almost every year. If you are someone who is worried about fitting in and uncomfortable around complete money loving snobs, stay clear.

Campus Life and Social Life
AXP, Alpha Chi Rho. Crow for short, is the "football" frat although the members are more than just steak heads. The Tap Cafe on New Britain Ave is a great place to hang with great deals on cheap beer every weeknight, just make sure you're 21. Psi U and the Hall are exclusive snob social scenes that kick out those who they think don't belong and Psi U likes to start fights with anyone, including themselves so beware. The Crow brothers are all friendly and KKG is right next door and they're equally as nice.

Academics
Great history and social science departments. Work is what you make of it. You can overwork/underwork yourself depending on major and class selection. Entirely up to specific individuals really.

Student Body
Very non diverse student body, unlike the city of Hartford. Mostly upper class white students many of whom obnoxiously enjoy talking about their money and possessions. Lots of expensive cars, BMW, Benz, etc. However, there are plenty of nice people around you just need to find them.

In Closing...
Great school, less than desireable location but 20 minutes in any direction will find you more activities. Great education and great social scene. I miss it.
